WHO WE ARE

Valley Unique Electric, Inc. was established in 1979 by Walt Worthington and Hogi Selling III. Since its inception, Valley Unique Electric has specialized in just about every type of service offered in the electrical industry and represents four continuous generations in the Central Valley, Bay Area, Nevada and Central Coast dating back to 1924.

Valley Unique Electric, Inc. has excelled in the industrial-commercial field of construction-maintenance and design-build through its dedication to innovation and commitment to superior service. OUR TEAM

Mark Worthington

Mark Worthington graduated from California State University Fresno with a degree in Industrial Technology. He joined Valley Unique Electric, Inc. in 1986 and is the principal design-build consultant, overseeing the design process from start to finish. Mark is also one of the chief estimators for both private and public projects. Major projects that mark has worked on include the design-build of the Fresno Housing Authority, design-build of the Pacific Gas and Electric Sites, and Herwaldt Mercedes design.

Hogi Selling IV

Hogi Selling IV joined Valley Unique Electric, Inc. in 1993. Hogi’s duties include hiring and management of new employees, project development, estimating and meeting with contractors and suppliers. He is affiliated with the San Joaquin Electric League, National California Golf Association and Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Hogi’s major projects include the Madera Community Hospital Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room Expansion, Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Golden West Football Stadium and California State University Fresno Duncan Building.

Hogi Selling III

Hogi Selling entered the electrical field in 1969 where he served for four years in the international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 100 Apprenticeship Program. He became a journeyman electrician in 1973 and opened Valley Unique Electric, Inc. with Walt in 1979. Hogi currently has an Electrical Contractor License C-10 and is a part of the San Joaquin Electric League, and was part of the United States Army for four years.

Walt Worthington

Walt Worthington entered the electrical field in 1969 where he served for four years in the international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 100 Apprenticeship Program. He became a journeyman electrician in 1973 and opened Valley Unique Electric, Inc. in 1979. Walt is married with one child and is a member of the is a part of the San Joaquin Electric League, ABC Apprenticeship Board, Kiwanis Club, and was part of the United States Navy for five years. Walt is the chief estimator for both private and public projects.
